Sport & Recreation Development

Sport Marlborough will facilitate the improvement in capability and performance of local sport and recreation organisations.

This will be achieved by working alongside Regional Sport Organisations (RSO's) and Regional Recreation Organisations (RRO's) with the following SportAssist development tools:

1. Board Governance
2. Committee Rule
3. Strategic Planning
4. Communication Strategies
5. Leadership Development
6. Funding & Sponsorship
7. School Community Partnerships
8. Inclusion
9. Risk Management
10. Volunteer Management
11. Membership Recruitment
12. Event Planning & Management

Each developmental tool will be delivered with a presentation accompanied by a resource you can take away with you. Follow up meetings will take place to assist with implementing the development tools into your RSO or RRO.

If you would like assistance in any of the above areas please contact your local Sport & Recreation Development Advisor.
