What We Do

The main objective of the work of Sport Buller is to get 'More People, More Active, More Often'.

The target groups for this are local schools, sports clubs and a wide variety of community groups who have the opportunity of providing physical activity options.

Being part of a charitable trust, Sport Buller is reliant on the community for support and very much appreciates the annual funding it receives from the Buller District Council.

Sport Buller has a number of programmes that operate on a weekly basis to encourage physical activtiy.

Touch 6's Tournament

The competition will be played on Thursday nights at Victoria Square with a proposed start date of November 27th.

It is hoped to run a men's and a mixed grade but this is dependant on the number of registrations received.

Registration forms will soon be available at the Sport Buller Office or Gibson's Sports & Toy World and are to be returned no later than November 20th to Sport Buller Office with your team payment.

NO PAYMENT -  NO PARTICIPATION!

Touch is a team sport that involves six players being on the field but a squad of ten.  Players can sub on and off the field therefore it is suitable for people of varied fitness levels to enjoy.  In addition to the obvious benefits of being active the touch competition provides an opportunity to have fun outdoors.
