Motueka Recreation Centre

Opened by the then Minister of Sport, Hon Mike Moore in 1987 the Motueka Recreation Centre is "where it all happens".

Managed by Sport Tasman on behalf of the Tasman District Council the Motueka Recreation Centre aims to provide something for everyone. The diverse facility contains a roller rink, fitness centre, cafe, sports stadium, indoor climbing wall, outdoor netball courts, cinema and two martial art dojo's that neighbours Goodman Park and the local BMX and Go kart tracks.

The Centre has the equipment and facilities for the following activities:

* Weight training           * Group Fitness           * Roller skating

* Indoor climbing          * Basketball                * Volleyball

* Karaoke                    * Badminton                * Pool Table

* Table tennis               * Indoor cricket           * Bouncy castles

* Team building            * Go karts                   * Gymnastics
